Classic Christie read for anyone who just knows her books!

This collection has been released before and always enjoyed it. The reason I purchased a new edition was because I was hoping for two things. On the plus side, I am grateful for a larger and easier opening book. My old copy was very compact and falling to bits. On the negative side, I was hoping this edition might have been updated to include her plays which Christie never got round to novelizing but were eventually by another author ("Black Coffee", "Spider's Web, and "The Unexpected Guest"). I would like to read the original plays someday, but at least this book will suffice in the meantime

Therefore, it stands to reason that a unified treatment of aerodynamics that yields steady-state aerodynamics as a special case offers advantages. This rea� soning is strengthened by the developments in computational fluid dynamics over the past forty years, which showed that accurate steady-state solutions can be obtained efficiently by solving the unsteady flow equations.

This book provides an introduction to unsteady aerodynamics with emphasis on the analysis and computation of inviscid and viscous two-dimensional flows over airfoils at low speeds. It begins with a discussion of the physics of unsteady flows and an explanation of lift and thrust generation, airfoil flutter, gust response and dynamic stall. This is followed by an exposition of the four major calculation methods in currents use, namely inviscid-panel, boundary-layer, viscous-inviscid interaction and Navier-Stokes methods. Undergraduate and graduate students, teachers, scientists and engineers concerned with aeronautical, hydronautical and mechanical engineering problems will gain understanding of the physics of unsteady low-speed flows and an ability to analyze these flows with modern computational methods.

I spend a LOT of (wasted) time in meetings in my company. Most meetings go off on tangents. When I hold my own meetings, I'm adamant about keeping them efficient. This book tells you in no uncertain terms how to limit what you say in the meeting to only what is important to your audience--and how to say it in only six minutes. That leaves the rest of your meeting time to reach consensus, and hopefully get everyone out of the meeting and back to work before the end of the day. I began analyzing problems with meetings immediately, and I intend to apply the principles in this book to my next meeting. Even better, this book is concise--I read it in less than six hours. You will not be wasting your time buying this book! It's going to become my meeting bible.

A "Must Have" For Anyone In Sales!

I teach a seminar on reaching the Motorcoach Travel Industry, and I make it a point to hold up a copy of Ron's most excellent book at every session, and encourage every attendee to purchase a copy for themselves. I can't endorse this book enough...in an industry populated with the "seven minute appointment" format for conventions, "Say It In Six" is just about flawless for proper preparation to sell in this marketplace.
