A tour de force

Few take on the profession of architecture as Cuff does. Looking deeply into both it's culture and history she does an outstanding job of revealing its intricacies and particularities. As a teacher, I've actually used this in my syllabus since it is one of the few books which delve into the culture of architecture practice. It is this culture which keeps attracting the young, talented and creative kids to our profession. Every young architect, whether entering school or the profession should read this book to appreciate the unique benefits of our cherished profession and understand the importance of our studio culture.
